New Shred Styles for 2010

We’re stoked to celebrate July 4, 2010, and to wish the United States happy birthday as we look forward to our second year offering you the best in casual boardsports t-shirts.

Joining The Classic this summer are the Shred Flower, custom-made for surfing, skiing, snowboarding and all-around outdoor ladies in both blue and white longsleeve and pink and turquoise tank tops, and the One Nation, featuring our shred mantra on the same soft blue and white cotton shirts as The Classic.

We will start updating the Shred Sighting and Merchandise pages with photos ASAP. And you can still order any shirt from the merchandise pages (all sizes and styles will remain the same price on the website), and we will send you an e-mail to dial in your exact order before we ship. Someone Stole my SWB Tee!

Please alert the authorities!  A horrible thing has happened.  Shred, White & Blue’s popularity is growing so fast that people are resorting to thievery to get their hands on the SWB goods.

You may think I’m joking, but I’m not.  It happened to me, and it could happen to you too.  I was the proud owner of a blue SWB t-shirt.  I wore it frequently . . . maybe too frequently judging by the smell.  In some odd way I think it helped me ski better.  Then one day I opened my ski bag to find everything where it should be – except for my SWB shirt.  In its place was a note that read:

“What once was yours, is now mine
Please don’t cry, it will be fine.

I’ll take good care of your SWB tee
I’ll wear it with pride, so don’t be mad at me.”

As you can tell, this is a serious issue.  As such, I suggest that you take security precautions to ensure the safety of your SWB gear.

Am I upset?  Definitely, I loved that shirt!  Not only is my skiing suffering, but my fashion sense as well.  Do I understand why they took it?  All legal and ethical considerations aside, sure I do!  The shirt is sweet!  If given the opportunity I would gladly steal it back!

Whoever has my SWB shirt – Represent and wear it with pride!

We Got the Shirts!

We got 100 T-shirts just in time for the holidays, and appreciate all the good e-mails from those of you who have been representing the SWB colors at your favorite surf and snow spots. Happy Holidays! Thanks for all your support.

Ultra Rare: The Famous SWB Hoodie

Somewhere, USA (Shred White and Blue)—We started out with hoodies because we figured it was the one thing that surfers, skiers and paddlers would regularly wear; everybody with them on right after the beach, or the skiing, or especially in the morning before it’s started, when you’re freezing your ass off somewhere.

But they were really expensive to make. And the fact that they were made in Vietnam wasn’t really part of our business model.

But they sold out in the first week, too. And we got photos back from some of you skiing along the Rockies, from Monarch to Whistler, Crystal Mountain, Washington, and even from Switzerland, where some lucky Schnitz was doing the schuss and strudel. And we got urban sightings from Boston College, the mean streets of Vermont and the friendly bars of Montreal.

So right now we’re kind of looking for new ideas. Like, where to make the next generation of hoodies, basically.

Action Sports Americana (Shred White and Blue)-We wanted to give the original SWB sticker that old school icon feel, but with the united symbolism of the intertwined existence of rain, surf and snow. Whatever medium you ride, gravity, swell or tide, we hope you think it looks cool, too.
